There are countries that do not require an entry visa if you are a Filipino citizen.
The period of stay allowed varies from country to country. Like Singapore will give you a minimum of 14 days while Brazil will allow you 90 days of stay. It would be best to verify with the embassies of these countries. Click here for the list of contact details of foreign embassies in the Philippines.

**Will grant visa on arrival for a fee and other requirements such as proof of funds, etc.
**You will also need to secure a transit visa (this is different from a visit pass or tourist visa) when visiting some of the countries. Take the case of the countries in the Pacific Islands, where you will pass through either New Zealand or Australia, to get to the aforementioned, thus you need to secure a New Zealand transit visa or Australia transit visa. Another example, you may need to secure a US transit visa en route to South American countries. Because as far as I know, there are no direct flights from Manila to Bolivia or Manila to Ecuador. Yes, transit visa might be the biggest challenge for a Pinoy travelling to the countries listed above.

Any advice for how we should deal with the French Consulate? Any reason why we should call her consulate? We’re worried that they won’t expedite it for us. Then we’re going to have to go somewhere else

Your blog entry on visa exemptions for Filipinos is very helpful. I hope you can confirm whether a traveler to Morocco should have a possession of an official letter from DFA (?)/Philippine Embassy in that country. I just heard this informally from a colleague who went to Morocco before.
I also wish to point out that when I went to Cyprus, I had to get a visa through the Greek Embassy.
September 30, 2008 at 12:36 am
You can also get a visa on arrival in Kenya but make sure that you are in possession of a yellow fever vaccination card.
I hope this helps!
Nice website, btw…

June 14, 2009 at 1:09 am
Hi kenneth,
Yes, Costa Rica is a nice place. And yes, you have a chance to work there. Marami na ding pinoy ang andun. I have been there for almost three years and I loved the country. It’s easy for us Filipinos to get along kc ang Tagalog is very similar to Spanish. Maraming work dun usually as call center agents and others. You just have to bring your documents if you are planning to stay there for good. Kc after 30days of stay kelangan mo na ng visa to stay there. Medyo mahigpit na sila ngaun sa overstaying tourists. The most beautiful thing about Costa Rica is their climate. If you have other questions, just let me know…
July 3, 2009 at 4:25 am

maraming salamat po sa pagbigay mo ng info sa akin not only me but 4 d pinoys who’s willing to go in dis kind of places.talaga der’s a chance sa mga pinoy mag work sa costa rica?

May 11, 2009 at 9:16 am
Hi guys yes we don’t need a visa to brazil…just came there recently but sometimes some officers are not familiar na visa exempt tayo so expect a little delay when u pass the immigration…because sometimes they need to double check…and also dont forget to get you passport stamped when u arrive kasi by the time you leave they normally ask for that stamped in my case i was held for 30 minutes because the officer forgot to stamp when i arrived so they need to confirm my arrival date….
btw, to be safe it’s better to get your visas ahead….instead of paying for it when you arrive sa airport…sometimes its takes forever to get your passport stamped…hassle
